RHEMA Daily

Help & Support

Everything your RHEMA Daily does, and what to try when something looks wrong.

Getting started

  1. Tap how you're feeling. The eight tiles along the bottom are moods. Tap one and the verse changes to meet you in the moment.
  2. Tap the slanted tabs that continue on from the end of the gold band carrying the date. They move you between today's verse, a message kept from your church, and Carry the Word when your church publishes it.
  3. Tap the gold dingbat beneath the verse to save it. The circle turns into a heart once it's saved.
  4. Press and hold that same dingbat to open everything you've saved.
  5. Touch your phone to the side of the device to open the verse in the Bible app on your phone — or your church's page, depending on how the device is set.

Settings

The grid icon in the top-left corner opens Settings — theme and brightness, your Wi-Fi and ZIP code, your ministry connection, and this page.

From your church

Messages from your pastor

When your church has written something for the mood you picked, it arrives as a card across the top of the screen, signed by your church. Two choices: Keep holds on to it, and it becomes one of the pages you can reach from the slanted tabs. Dismiss lets it go. There's no countdown and it won't disappear on its own — it waits for you.

Connect — your church's links

If your church has set up links — giving, sermon notes, a connect card, whatever they've chosen — a tab with a chain appears. Tap it and a code fills the screen; scan it with your phone and it opens what they linked. If they've set up more than one, a 1 / 2 / 3 switcher lets you move between them.

You can hide the tab from your home screen in Settings → Ministry Info. That only affects your device — it doesn't change anything for your church.

Carry the Word — a daily teaching

Some churches publish a week of short teachings that follow their Sunday message. This is off until you turn it on. Go to Settings → Ministry Info and switch on Carry the Word; you can also set the time of day it comes to the front. You'll need your ministry code entered first, and your church has to be publishing.

Common questions

The weather or city is wrong

Settings → Device → ZIP code. The clock follows your ZIP too, so fixing one fixes the other.

The clock is blank when it first turns on

It's waiting to hear the correct time from the internet. It fills in on its own — usually quickly, occasionally after a couple of minutes. It stays blank rather than show you a time that might be wrong.

I turned on Carry the Word and nothing happened

Give it a few seconds — it fetches the week as soon as you switch it on. If it still says no teachings, either your church hasn't published this week, or today isn't one of their days: a church publishing three days a week has quiet days in between.

I'm not getting messages from my church

Check Settings → Ministry Info. When you type a correct code the screen shows your church's name — if it says Code not found, the code is wrong. If the name is right and you still see nothing, your church hasn't published messages yet.

My Wi-Fi changed

Settings → Device → Wi-Fi Setup, and pick the new network.

It's not connecting at all

Unplug it, wait about twenty seconds, and plug it back in. If it still won't connect, tell us below and say what the screen shows.

Still stuck?

Tell us what happened. The more specific the better — what you tapped, and what the screen did.

If you can, include your Device ID from Settings → Device. It tells us which unit you're on and which version it's running, which is usually the difference between us guessing and us reproducing it.
